Here at Pike End Farm on the Yorkshire Lancashire border, high in the South Pennines. Our aim is to provide the highest quality Dexter Beef to our rapidly growing customer base.
We raise our herd of pedigree Dexter Cattle in a traditional way, to the highest possible standards.
The stewardship of our land is of vital importance to us, traditional harrowing and mowing along with natural fertilisers are used to maintain healthy pasture. Thus ensuring our animals have a totally natural diet. Animal welfare and full traceability are our top priority, from pasture to plate!
Reared to maturity and carefully selected, we then use a local abatoir for primary processing of the carcase. Once returned to the farm we mature our beef for 21 days before butchering and packing a range of choice cuts, delicious sausage and mighty burgers. Ready for cooking or the freezer.
We sell our beef through the ‘farm gate’ and also at selected local Farmers Markets in the North West. Pike End Dexter Beef is also available for overnight delivery through our on-line box service.
